LPW - Elgin, 11J, 0S, 14K gold original HC with terrific enameled image to rear of a child waving a baton to conduct an orchestra made up of colorful songbirds, front with initials, unusual beaded band, gold cuvette with 1976 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, SW-SS, nickel damascene, s#6316059. Gross weight of assembled watch 24.7 dwt (38.4 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, profuse fine scratches to balance cock foot, few fine scratches elsewhere; excellent dial with few small edge nicks under bezel; fine hands with portions of oxide; case shows little wear, scattered dings or dents toward perimeter of rear, front with dent at lower right perimeter, small protruding ding at center front, excellent engraving detail, enameling is fully intact; tight bow, crown shows light wear; plastic crystal with internal mark at center caused by the hands.
